Meet Our Staff

Dr. Trent Reynolds grew up on a small hobby farm in Indiana. He always enjoyed animals and wanted to be a veterinarian. He grew up taking care of various animals at home and working on his uncle’s dairy farm. He completed his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University in 1998. He joined North Side Animal Clinic in May of 2000. He loves working as a mixed animal veterinarian and serving the clients of Logan and surrounding counties. He lives in Bellefontaine and has a small farm near Rushsylvania. He has 2 sons, a daughter and a collie. He enjoys training for triathlons, going to church and spending time at the farm with his goats and other animals.

Dr. Jessica Zimmerman is a 2012 graduate of the University of Findlay and in 2016 graduated from the University of Florida with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Her special interests include porcine medicine and large breed dogs. She loves having a career in a mixed animal practice. She grew up on the Ohio-Pennsylvania border and now lives in Rushslyvania with her husband and son. She has two Great Danes, two cats and a donkey. In her free time, she enjoys cycling, baking, gardening, fishing, hunting and reading.

Dr. Caroline Kent completed her undergraduate studies at Wake Forest University in North Carolina before graduating from The Ohio State University with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2017. In between college and veterinary school, she spent a year working on a thoroughbred farm in Kentucky where she developed a greater love for horses. She has a special interest in equine medicine, but loves working with all species. She now resides in De Graff with her husband. Her hobbies include running, bow hunting, cooking, gardening, and four-wheeling.

Dr. Oakley grew up in West Liberty, Ohio where she enjoyed working on her grandparents Jersey dairy farm as well as showing her dogs. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from The University of Findlay in 2014 and went on to complete her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine studies at Iowa State University. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, being anywhere near a beach, antiquing, and spoiling her three rescued dogs, Mason, Samson and Simon. She enjoys providing care to both small and large animal patients!
